Hannah snowboarded on Mon & Tues. Wed was supposed to be a pretty ucky day so we decided to go to the climbing wall. Well, Chris and Hannah climbed, I took pictures.

this is harder than it looks since it keeps moving and if you do not keep off, it will shut down.


Thursday we had snow in the morning but it was gone by about noon so we decided to climb Pilot Butte for a view of Bend. You climb up about a mile and get a 360 degree view of Bend. It was not a real clear day but still, you could see all around.

Friday was another day of cold and blustery snow for most of the day. The sun came out in the late afternoon and it turned beautiful. We mainly hung out, rented a movie and had pizza for dinner. A nice slow easy day.

home again...

Back safe and sound from Oregon. Where is our warm weather?? Don't tell me we brought the cold back with us!

Bags are unpacked, Tiger is fed and in his bed happy as can be, clothes are washed (not too many since mom did most of it for me) and we are all hanging around the house doing NOTHING!

Tomorrow - back at it!

Does this look like progress...

Well it is. There may be piles but all the cork is now laid, waiting to dry for final sealant. Getting so...close. And hopefully the appliances can return to the kitchen.

Older pictures of Chris laying the cork floor - from early February. I will post pictures of it completed later. Right now, he has laid about 75% of it down, sealed it and is waiting for the sealant to cure so we (uh, make that he) can move the furniture back on it thus opening up the area left to lay.

No pictures of the dancing but here they are ready to head out to the spring ball...

Hannah had a good time and Chris went for the last 45 minutes to dance with her. He said it was so crowded that they really didn't dance, just shuffle and bounce off other dancers.

But she looked so nice and pretty.

Not sure if we will do cotillion again next year - it was rather pricey for what she got from it.

to do...

Saturday's to do list....
1. go to hannah's last basketball game (lost it, bummer)
2. clean out fridge, wash shelves
3. make Chris a coconut cream pie
4. seal cork in basement (well, supervise)
5. go for a walk/loosen up the back - it is nice out today
6. take a nap.

All done but the nap.
