Same time as last year. Same house. Same friends.
Another great week.
We went down on Sat - the 3 of us and Ashley. On Wed, Ashley's mom, sister and friend came down. Thurs morning, Ash's dad arrived.
We had great weather - maybe a little on the cool side for August - just so it was not so unbearable you had to get in the water every 15 mintues to cool down. Nice and warm. Sunny all days except on Wed where it rained from am to pm.
Tried to see some loggerhead turtles hatch (like last year) but did not succeed. We sat at a nest on Fri night till 11:30pm and gave up after one appeared and never did more than stick it's head out of the sand. Ends up that only one emerged that night.....no bubbling up for us.

First night - girls end up in the water fully dressed.
The clouds were amazing that night - all full of different colors and the sun hit some layers different than others. People were coming down the beach and just staring at the clouds...
